What is Kyokushin Karate?

Kyokushin Karate is a full-contact martial art, and our form of Karate is often referred to as “The Strongest Karate”.

We put emphasis on safe, but realistic training in everything we do. We train our minds & body’s to be strong, focused and compassionate.

Whether were training kata, weapons, hitting the pads, practicing self-defense or sparring… it must be real.

This is why Kyokushin Karate produces excellent martial artists like UFC fighter George St. Pierre, and MANY K-1 kickboxing legends like Andy Hug.



What is K-1 style Kickboxing?

K-1 Kickboxing – Is a form of martial art that combines boxing with elements of karate.


There is no belt system or rank. This is purely for fitness and those who want to compete.


Training consists of:

  • Cardio, endurance and strength conditioning.

  • Shadow boxing and Foot work

  • Drills: Punching, kicking, elbows, knees, grabbing, trapping and throwing

  • Pad, Shield and Bag work

  • beginner and competitive level sparring

  • Stretching & Flexibility
