Rumor's Comedy Club Fund Raiser

2015 is upon us! Devlin Dojo is pleased to announce six of it's students will be heading to Moncton, New Brunswick to compete in the kumite tournament! We will have semi-contact and full contact competitors this year.

This is be a fantastic year for Devlin Dojo; second year in operation and our very first tournament! This fundraising event will help alleviate funds required when travelling to compete. The event will take place February 21, 2015 at 7:00pm, the cost of admission is $17 and tickets must be purchased through Devlin Dojo and its participants.

Come out and support our Dojo! What better way to spend a Saturday evening then with a few laughs with some good friends!

Devlin Dojo is proud to announce the arrival of Shihan, Hamid Asna-Ashari and head of KyokushinKan Canada.

This will be Winnipeg's first official KyokushinKan Seminar and the first of many!

We are very excited to have Shihan Hamid in Winnipeg and look forward to a day filled with Kyokushin spirit, OSU!

Shihan has been training Kyokushin for 35 years. He trained at Honbu for 5 years and with Sosai, Oyama. Then was assigned as an official Iranian Branch Chief by Sosai Oyama.

He was one of the first people to join Kancho Royama, the founder of Kyokushinkan, and established the Canadian Kyokushinkan Karate Organization in 2003.

2014 Here We Go!!

Osu!! Happy New Year everyone!!

We hope that everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. Those Holiday treats sure find there way around and I'm looking forward to sweating them off "The Kyokushin way". I'm Personally excited to see everyone, get back to training and prepare for what is sure to be an awesome year!

We all know what day is the first day back... RIGHT??

Well just to be sure... January 6th, 2014 (Monday). 

So lets get talking about 2014!

Many exciting things are going to come our way this year. We have local, national & international tournaments, seminars, training camps & belt gradings

For those wanting to compete in (Forms) Kata, (Fighting) Kumite (Semi & full-contact) events, please talk to Sensei. There will be opportunities for first timers and seasoned practitioners.
